10xDS helped automating the Account Block/Unblock process for a leading Islamic retail bank
10xDS team has successfully helped a leading Islamic Retail bank automate Block/ Unblock account process to deliver maximum value adhering to deadlines imposed by Central Bank for non-compliance. The solution was designed to enable end to end automation with no human intervention required. The bot downloads excel report from the Central Bank website and processes it in the Core Banking System and reports back to the Central Bank website. In case of unavailability of the application, the solution runs the requests again and is scheduled to run on specific intervals to handle the incoming requests. The solution increased processing speed, capacity, accuracy and significantly helped the Bank to reduce the Average Handling Time by 56% that covers 400- 500 requests in a day. Automating the process reduced compliance risk and helped the bank avoid penalties from the Central Bank for non-performance. Moreover, streamlining the process helps the Bank offload manual work and shift employees to more value-added processes, further improving productivity.
